Issue One Recap: "The Industry" is about two British rock bands, "House of Parliament" (a punk-rock-esque band) and "The Monarchy" (an emo-goth-esque band). House of Parliament was at the top of charts...until The Monarchy came along and debuted at number one. To add insult to injury, Monarchy frontman Julian Faust outright disses House frontman Austin L'Audace at a live press conference, who in turn fights back by calling Julian a poser on an American talk show. The rivalry explodes into a media frenzy, and the boys are soon approached by skeezy, smooth-talking, double-dealing record executive Guy Dude. While they're still sniggering over his name, Guy Dude announces his grand scheme to host an epic, stadium-sized Battle of the Bands to settle the feud once and for all. Will our boys recognize the scam for what it is? Or will they be too busy fighting each other to see the real villian of the music industry? (*cue dramatic music*)
